Winemaker Rüdger van Wyk grew up in the town of George, not far from where the Karatara river flows. After completing studies at Stellenbosch University, Rüdger joined the Cape Winemaker’s Guild Protégé program. Rüdger was awarded “Diner’s Club Young Winemaker of the year 2018” and is also currently winemaker at Stark-Condé Wines. These wines are a modern interpretation of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which are the classic varietals that define the Burgundy region of France.
